Warning Signs of Teens Contemplating Suicide
The Help Hotline Crisis Center, Inc. lists the following warning signs of suicidal teenagers:

Talking about suicide;

Having trouble eating or sleeping;

Experiencing drastic changes in behavior;

Withdrawing from friends and social activities;

Losing interest in hobbies, work or school;

Preparing for death by making out a will and final arrangements;

Giving away prized possessions;

Having attempted suicide before;

Taking unnecessary risks;

Having had a recent severe loss;

Being preoccupied with death and dying;

Losing interest in personal appearance;

Increasing the usage of alcohol or other drugs.
