School Missions
Thank you for considering Christian Life Resources for your school mission project!
Christian Life Resources ministry is within the fellowship of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. In partnership with fellow members of the WELS and ELS, we speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and put our faith into action with the Christ-centered home for mothers, New Beginnings – A Home for Mothers.
Our ministry fills an unmet need in today’s world by providing education about a multitude of life and family issues. All of our education and counsel is founded on the principle that the Bible is the true Word of God. We educate on what God’s Word has to say about the value and sanctity of human life through:
- Annual Convention
- Clearly Caring Magazine
- Christian Medical Directives
- Email Services
- Website & Social Media
- Booklets & Pamphlets
- Equipping Spiritual Leaders
- Speaking Engagements
At CLR, we are dedicated to finding “bridges” with life and family issues to talk about God, his will, and his plan for our salvation in Christ. Your support touches lives by your demonstration of love and the sharing of the message of love that lasts forever in Christ.
We are happy to provide your school with materials to enhance the mission project experience with your students and their families.
Some pro-life, pro-family themes include:
- “Every Life Counts” – This would be a general theme referring to the fact we help everyone from babies to grandpas. (We help people with life issues from conception until death.) Ex. ties in with offerings that are counted.
- “Families Helping Families” – We offer help to families through our resources, individual peer counseling, and we have a number of affiliated pregnancy centers who help families. Support for CLR helps our staff with training, resources, and guidance for these centers.
- “Support for Moms and Dads” – As mentioned above we are a go-to for a lot of life situations.
- “Love and Help for Grandparents” – This year we will be offering more resources and support for caregivers and the elderly. Many of these are grandparents. This will include items like guides, calls, cards of encouragement, service days, etc.
